Teen activist Greta Thunberg is having another temper tantrum right now, and suggests in a tweet there will be retaliation!
Today the EU failed to #VoteThisCAPdown and basically made their insufficient so-called climate and environmental targets impossible to reach.
And no-one even knew it happened.

Her indignation is a reaction to today’s European Parliament failure to vote down Common Agricultural Policy’s (CAP) watered down changes that include making money available for landscapes that benefit biodiversity, environmental and climate-related measures and direct direct payments for eco-schemes.
The EU Parliaments voted for its plan by a vast margin 425 – 212, with 51 abstaining.
The WWF EU tweeted that the CAP deal has “no environmental credibility”:

The EU Parliament’s decision to approve the CAP signifies climate protection is not as serious an issue as it often makes it out to be. Greta and her cult followers are fuming.

If someone suddenly receives so much attention and is the rising star on the world stage, that is usually no coincidence. Also in the case of the Swedish climate and environmental activist Greta Thunberg it seems that a proper planning had preceded this.

Greta & Friends got only 80% of their demands, so they cry foul. Didn’t they really win? They should have gotten 0%.
Pippi Långstrump was fun when she was a little girl. But now she’s just a grumpy teenager. Changed her name, too.
Greta should go outside and experience the current gloomy weather in Stockholm, the home of the syndrome.
Can’t be too tough on Greta, she can’t help it. You have to kill her with kindness. Have some sympathy for the lost soul that she undoubtedly is.
It is never too late to learn a thing or two about a thing or two.
When April rolls around, Greta can go outside when the sun is shining and plant a garden. It is her only hope at this point. She might finally smile for once.
If Greta the Grinch wants to reduce the use of hydrocarbons, she can turn of the electricity at where she lives, problem solved.
Just stop using farm machines altogether, no ICE for you. Harvest doesn’t need combines, you can go out there in the field with a sickle and do it by hand. Not an easy task, but it can be done.
No ships out on the ocean, no merchant marine, no cod for you, Greta.
No trucks to deliver goods, no services to speak of, just the sweat of everyone’s brow, that should work okay. No cars to transport people to work and back, shut ‘er down, lock it all down, humans are a waste, just so much can be tolerated. har
A hydrocarbon-free future won’t be pretty. Give it a try, see what happens. The changes will be profound, biblical.
A few folks might go hungry, but that shouldn’t matter all that much.
Hydrocarbons are here to stay and civilization is powered by those evil, wicked, mean, and nasty hydrocarbons.
Greta needs to stick around, she has a lot to learn.

I honestly don’t think Greta Thunberg writes her own tweets. She’s a 17 year old; barely out of childhood. My experience, questioning her tweets is: she’ll ignore everything, including apparently harmless questions. In my experience a conceited kid, like Greta, would stand her ground in response to a challenge. The actual response I got amounted to mobbing by her minions and followers.
She’s very well managed.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again; Greta is living her own tragedy. Soon she will be an adult (18 years),like a failed child moviestar she will fade into oblivion, but her own fear and aggression will live on, inside her head. Will she be less worried at 35, even if the whole world has moved beyond the climate crises? I fear not. It is her life quality that is on the line here, not that of her fellow teenagers. They will have a bit of activist fun and move on.

The point that Greta misses is that the European Parliament’s failure to vote down Common Agricultural Policy’s (CAP) is because food and fishery industries hold a lot of political power.
Really would the French, Italian, Spanish, Greek, any Nordic nations, etc., tolerate no subsidies without starting to think about turning away from the EU collective?
Greta misunderstands so many things, and whoever writes her tweets just shows how politically unaware she appears to be.
She is certainly obnoxious, arrogant and ignorant. But she has been created like that. Why are her abusers not locked up by now?
