Power Supply Fiasco: Green Energy Blackout Hits Germany! Fossil Fuels To The Rescue

First, many of you surely have heard of a widespread purge of followers and account suspensions happening at Twitter, most notably that of the U.S. President, Donald Trump and Sidney Powell.

NoTricksZone lost 3oo followers since January 6. Tony Heller’s account has lost 3000 in just a matter of hours.

Moving to Gab, Parler

Currently I’m moving from Twitter to Gab and Parler, as I expect things at Twitter to get far worse.

Clearly they’re convinced they can get away with anything. Where will it all end? Who knows! The way things are going, it wouldn’t surprise me if others started freezing bank accounts, denying mobile phone service or even electric power. Remember these people stole an election and got away with it!

My handle to search for at Gab and Parler: NoTricksZone. I encourage you all to open an account there.

The denial of electrical power may even be necessary soon in the future, anyway – like it was in communist Romania in the wonderful Ceausescu days. Just look at how Germany’s 50 GW – yes, gigawatts – of solar power have performed since January 1st.

Image cropped from Agora.

The dark blue curve depicts Germany’s total electric power consumption, which ramped up again Sunday evening, January 3rd, as factories started up again. The yellow shaded nubs depict the solar energy produced over the period, same as nothing.

Over the past couple of days, many installations have been blanketed by snow.

Germany’s weather has been much more overcast and gray recently, including periods of low wind activity. Let’s look at how solar power has performed over the past 45 days:

Image cropped from Agora.

This is the plan that sleepy-brain Biden and the leftwing environmental crazies want to implement for America. No wonder they want to censor us, when we present the reality.

Supply disaster

When we include wind power, with another 60 GW of installed capacity – total 110 GW with sun – we see the following performance.

Image cropped from Agora.

Though it looks much better, the combined massive 110 GW of installed wind and solar capacity don’t even come close to meeting Germany’s electricity demand. There are some periods where both are practically absent.

It’s no way to operate a power grid. Germany’s power grid, once one of the most stable worldwide, is headed for ruin. America should not mimic such a fiasco.

America shouldn’t mimic Germany but with Biden in the WH they most certainly wilol. To be followed closely by the UK

Last Wednesday *was* a mimicking of Germany – from bygone years.

There’s plenty of video evidence and eyewitness testimony – it was a set-up.

Everyone in Germany remember the “Reichstag fire”?

      1. Yonason

        1 – tampering with evidence
2 – aiding and abetting a crime (ballots must by law be kept for a much longer time, not shredded)

Of course it was a set-up!

        1. bonbon

9/11 was a failed Reichstagbrand, but the Constitution stayed in place, with new Emergency Laws. Biden’s Kiev color revolution Maidan 1 was obviously the playbook for Jan 6 but there was none.
Someone did shoot a Vet, though. At Maidan snipers shot into the crowd at random.

The danger now is war. Look at Biden’s Libya or Kiev. Trump wants no more endless wars, Biden’s crowd the exact opposite.
So again Germany has other problems on top of energy. How many remember or know someone who was at Sevastopol, or Stalingrad?

The Green Finance policy from global central bankers such as Mark Carney is bringing immense pressure on elected governments to give up any fiscal policy to a green elite. So you can elect any government you want, but global green finance is in charge. Biden will rejoin Paris with this playbook.

German media calls this business as usual…

          1. Yonason

“Trump wants no more endless wars, Biden’s crowd the exact opposite.”

They defund the military, and Trump rebuilds it. They want war, and he doesn’t. Everything Leftists “know” is wrong.

  3. richard

This all leads to that Ceaușescu moment when people have had enough. Not killing but a sudden spark that just ignites and nobody foresaw the actual moment it would happen. Fall of the wall etc.

Trump will gain from this and become a martyr. Nobody even talks about Biden. Trump will be a thorn in his side. Trump has said big news coming.

Photovoltaic generation has been demonstrated to be an overall net energy sink in locations with moderate insolation, specifically Germany and Switzerland.

When will Germany and the rest of Western Europe come out of their green stupor? I suspect it will be when reality smacks them in the head, but I fear a great deal of damage will be done before that happens.

Pierre, This pertains to your sentence, “Remember these people stole an election and got away with it!” You and your readers might glance at the many specifics on this at my post,
    https://casf.me/blatant-examples-massive-vote-fraud-2020-presidential-election/
Using time series analysis, the same tool I and we have used in determining fraud in surface temperature adjustment (actually tampering) it is possible to see the exact moment when fraudulent votes were dropped into the state vote tabulations, and the composition of those votes, so out of the character of state where it happened. There is another tool, watching replay of Election Night coverage, where it is possible to see from the replay, of CNN, for instance, the switching of votes, from Trump to Biden. And in a court-sanctioned forensic analysis of the Dominion Voting Systems machine, you can see that the systems logs for the Presidential Election 2020 were deleted, and that over 68% of the votes were sent to election workers for “adjudication,” where election workers, not voters, determine which candidate got the vote.

Politicians only have a 10 year timescale max. Therefore they will therefore support whatever policy is currently in fashion.”Green Energy” is of course a meaningless term because it too plays the political game. Climate scientists are right but they should also be held to account. Activism devoid of any responsibility is a sure recipe for disaster.

Good to see you on Gab!

  9. drumphish

Who’s Bidet? Never heard of him, must be some kind of human hater or someone like that. Has he been anywhere other than his basement?

A musing for some humor, there has got to be some humor in what has happened. An obvious fraudulent election and it’s okay. No problemo, things change, have to move on, nothing to see, get over it.

First they came for Donald Trump, but I’m not Donald Trump, so I couldn’t speak up.

Actually, they’re coming for you too, everybody.

You can’t trust any of it anymore, just can’t be done.

No idea what is going on, but it seems to be a deposing of Trump at all costs, doesn’t matter if it is even legal, it’s not. Truck more ballots, Trump is winning by a landslide, can’t have that.

Don’t expect Bolsheviks to play fair, they don’t, never have and never will.

Antifa infiltrated the Trump rally. Corrupted the protest of the electoral vote and made a fantastic mess of it all. It won’t get no better than that; as good as it gets.

Who in their right mind would advocate this kind of nonsense? Always picking on the POTUS non-stop, never accepting Trump as the President and a constant impeachment proceeding ad infinitum ad absurdum, who in God’s name wants to do stupid stuff like that?

Who then are the agitators, the bad actors?

It is insane. Dr. Strangelove stuff, stop worrying, love the steal.

A travesty of a mockery of a sham is what has happened.

Green New Steal is more appropriate, fits the best.

    1. bonbon

Exactly, the green Great New Steal, known as the Great Reset.
Davos soon will officially announce this.

A Green Government of the Bankers, by the Bankers for the Bankers.

      Who elected Malthus?

      1. rw

Twitter isn’t doing this to please “the bankers”. This is much bigger than that. I think Bannon has it about right (as does the German law professor who’s building a crimes against humanity case against WHO and various governments promoting covid-19 lockdowns – can’t remember his name): the globalists constitute an entire social class – and they’ve become detached from their respective mother cultures, the members of which they now fear and despise. This is all part of a vast social change that began after WWII and especially after the 1960s, although (of course) it has its roots in earlier periods.

That’s what spooky… this is looking globally like the Bronze Age collapse, but on a global scale…

  10. Dave Ward

“Actually, they’re coming for you too, everybody”

Trump said “It’s not me they’re coming for, it’s you – I just happen to be in the way”

And now he’s out of the way

      Good Night, World.

      1. Dave Ward

“And now he’s out of the way”

        Not yet, he isn’t…

        1. Yonason

I hope you’re correct, Dave, but the situation isn’t improving, and I see no activity or urgency on his end.

          Maybe he has a plan?

OK, OK, maybe he’s got a better plan.

We’ll see. But he only has 9 days left.

  11. The Indomitable Snowman, Ph.D.

The big problem with the green stuff is that is just doesn’t work. The clowns pushing it are m*r*ns with no technical or engineering experience; in their diseased worldview, they can make technology happen by clapping their hands and believing real hard. Just hand one of them a wind chime from Ikea and see if they can assemble it (hint: hilarity ensues).

The artifacts of “renewable (sic) energy” are basically religious artifacts – they are about belief, not deliverables. Over a decade ago, it seemed to me that they are in same vein as the Easter Island “moai” – a complete waste of resources on useless religious monstrosities while the real needs of a society were neglected… and the civilization collapsed.

You have to wonder where we’re heading in general. We’re heading to the point where soon there will be **no** healthy-and-viable society left in the world (and don’t let Red China fool you – they are starting down the sluice into a Russian-style demographic collapse).

One of the great mysteries of history is how the entire Bronze Age civilization collapsed c. 1200 B.C. No one really knows how and why. We may get to find out by running the same collapse ourselves…

    1. bonbon

See Eric Cline : 1177 B.C.: When Civilization Collapsed

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4LRHJlijVU
the highly intertwined states all went at once – they were completely globalized.
Even a Small World Social net is developed…

      1. The Indomitable Snowman, Ph.D.

That came out back in 2015 and is a good read. The old “book” on the Bronze Age collapse was that barbarians poured out of the steppes and overwhelmed everything. Trouble was that while there was obvious fire and destruction in many places, other places actually prospered and grew at around the same time before collapsing decades later… so obviously not some barbarian tsunami (a la Gibbon, which was also wrong on that count but less-wrong).

Easter Island, the Maya, the Xhosa… all were relatively contained, but the Bronze Age world looks much like today. Over-concentrations of power (rather than wealth), unswerving devotion to kooky cult beliefs that squander resources, etc…. Gee, sound familiar?

        1. Yonason

“Over-concentrations of power (rather than wealth), unswerving devotion to kooky cult beliefs that squander resources, etc…. Gee, sound familiar?” – The Indomitable Snowman, Ph.D.

          Good observations.

I found it interesting that at the end of his talk he presented some superficial similarities between then and now, like droughts, earthquakes, climate change; none of which were caused by people then, any more than now. If a culture is dynamic and resilient, it is much more likely to survive almost any natural insult. But rot from within invariably leads to one’s demise.

      2. Yonason

        @bonbon

        Thanks.

        I watched that here…
        https://youtu.be/bRcu-ysocX4
…about a year or two ago. Pretty impressive scholarship, and very polished presentation.

Yours is longer, and has some added info, with questions answered at the end.

    2. rw

There’s an interesting book put out some years ago by the Heartland Institute called Roosters of the Apocalypse. I can’t remember the author’s name. It compares the green energy fiasco with the self-destruction by the Xhosa people in S Africa, who basically destroyed most of their physical wealth by following a millenarian fantasy. It’s hardly the whole story, but it’s worth checking out.

Apple, Google and Amazon have suspended Parler from their app stores and web hosting services respectively.

Amazon’s move effectively takes the site offline unless it can find a new company to host its services.

According to Buzzfeed News, Parler violated the Amazon Web Services (AWS) unit’s terms of services by failing to effectively deal with a steady increase in violent content on the social networking service.

Another potential landing spot for is Gab — though both Google and Apple booted it from their app stores in 2017.

  13. Dale Mullen

Pierre: At this point (other than being temporarily (?) shut down), Parler has been a very dysfunctional site. God forbid that you ask questions about how to use the thing. That go me banned!
Gab, which at first, seemed to be a much better arrangement, is S-0 S-L-O-W that it may be/become unusable. Perhaps these are just growing pains.
Still looking for a reasonable site where we can meet again…
