The GFS anticipates a temperature drop in the southern hemisphere (below, blue line), which will also cause global 2m temperatures (black line) to fall to a new low for the year.
Hat-tip: Snowfan here.
The anomalies refer to the outdated (colder) WMO climate mean 1981-2010 and were also “adjusted” with the warming GISS factor: They are significantly colder in reality.

As climate history shows, what goes up goes eventually down, generating a livable environment within a certain bandwidth. No models or panic is required to understand this.

Smear temperatures from both Hemispheres together and you’d never realize Global Warming isn’t global. Which is inconvenient.
Same with oceanic pH.
In Western Canada we have had a very hot summer. The hot air came from the Western Coastal American States, and off the Pacific before that. We weren’t hot because Albertan CO2 was over 400 ppm. We were hot because the air over the eastern Pacific was hot. But the media said it was our damn CO2 from fossil fuels.
