Scientists highlight yet another region that anthropogenic CO2 emissions have failed to do their “global warming” thing.
Reconstructed and observed temperature trends reveal 120 years (1901-2022) of cooling across the southeastern US (King et al., 2024).

Over 100 years (1901-2015) of net cooling is also evident across the entire US according to 1,407 long-term temperature stations (Partridge et al., 2018).
Does Prof. Michael Mann live in this area of cooling?
Michael Mann likely lives near Philidelphia, so no to the question above.
Thanks

There is also a paper from Lansner & Pedersen 2018 which shows that only the regions with an oceanic climate have warmed from 1900 to 2010. The continental regions did not warm but their temperatures fluctuated.

[…] “New Study: The Southeastern United States Has Been Cooling For The Last 120 Years” – According to Kenneth Richard in the No Tricks Zone, the southeastern U.S. has been cooling, not warming, for the last 120 years. Ditto Central China since 1770. […]
As far as I know, the Gulf of Mexico is warming. This is because the water has become too toxic for healthy plant growth and, therefore, the normal level of photosynthesis. The photosynthetic process absorbs sun energy, and if this is curtailed, the water is excessively warmed. This could lead to strong air movement.
