Another year, another well-above-average (1981-2010 mean) snow and ice accumulation on the Greenland ice sheet (indicated by the blue vs. gray trend lines, right chart).
The net mass gain (blue) again exceeded the net mass loss (red) during 2024-2025.

The Greenland Ice Sheet melt percentage and surface temperature have been flat (to slightly declining) since 2002 (Fang et al., 2023).

And again: this is not the ‘mass balance’ (MB). It is surface mass balance (SMB) you are referring to.
You are wrong: The red, blue and grey line shows all the “surface mass balance” (SMB). None of this lines shows the “total mass balance” (TMB)
