Japan Sees NO WINTER WARMING In Decades…Tokyo Winters Haven’t Warmed Since 1984!

By Kirye
and Pierre

The meteorological winter, defined as December 1 to February 28, has just ended and the data for mean winter temperature are available for the Pacific island nation of Japan up to 2022.

So are winters getting colder, or are they getting milder like the media like to have everyone believe?

Tokyo winters see no warming in 37 years

First we look at the mean DJF winter temperature for Tokyo going back 37 years, using the untampered data from the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA):

Source: JMA.

Had we cherrypicked and started the plot in 1988, i.e. excluded the colder 1985-87 winters, then we would see Tokyo winters have gotten colder and harsher – the opposite of what CO2 climate alarmists are claiming. Everything looks completely natural.

Hachijō-jima island no warming in decades

Next, also using the data from the JMA, we plot the mean annual temperature of the Tokyo island of Hachijō-jima, located about 287 kilometers south of Tokyo – away from  urban sprawl and heat island affects:

Data: JMA

Though the last two winters were mild, the winter trend since 1948 at Hachijō-jima has been cooling. No warming going on here.

Japan winters have been cooling

Concerning the entire island country of Japan as a whole, here’s the plot of mean winter temperatures going back to 1988 (up to 2021):

Source: JMA.

There hasn’t been any sign of warming in Japan since all the hype began in 1988. Go figure.

8 Western Electric Rules for noisy systems

So what can we say about data from Japan? Interested readers could check to see if the data pass all of the 8 “Western Electric Rules”, meaning the system is statistically stable and the year-to-year variability is just statistical noise.

What are Western Electric Rules?

I am impressed with the Western Electric Rules.

Should I do a guest post about them?

        @TIS PhD

That would be interesting. I’ll vote “yay” to that.

I’m skeptical that those rules can be applied w/o modification to temperatures; even raw data, but especially not to anomalies in globally averaged biasedly adjusted temperatures.

They certainly apply WAY more to this sort of thing than linear regressions do…

            HAHAHA – touché! 😃

            I’m looking forward.

        Yes please.

    2. Yonason

      Ditto that!

Sorry for the off topic response. Any chance you can post a translated transcript of this takedown of recent zoonotic origin papers?

Rob, here’s some info from way back on the proximal origin of the virus.

This from Jan 2020 was where I first learned of it.

This follow-up from 2 months later debunks the natural origin assertion.

In that 1st post I learned of this fellow, who unraveled the thread even more, while filling in many blanks. see here…

Getting back to the first two above, the author is Dan Sirotkin. Fast forward a bit from those, and we have a peer reviewed paper he co-authored with his dad, here…

There is s lot more, but that should suffice for an introduction. Personally I don’t see the need to play wack-a-mole with every new assertion of zoonosis. Those I’ve read who I trust are of the opinion that it’s just a distraction from what should be our primary goal of stopping the useless harmful shots, and returning to a real, not a “new” normal.

The only useful things I can see coming out of pinning down where the virus originated is to determine if and how blame is to be assigned, and to give us the tools to spot any future attempts. And if this bio-hack of civilization doesn’t work, I think we can be sure they will try again. Just like they haven’t given up on “climate change,” they won’t quit on this scam, either.

      1. RobR

With regard to you assertion that we should not bother with analyzing the latest papers claiming near certainty in zoonotic origin, I emphatically to differ.

This site is devoted to exposing the corruption of Science for nefarious ends. The last two zoonotic origin papers (while still in preprint) were proudly cited by the New York times an the usual suspects as proof that the virus came from animal transfer at the wet market. In reality, neither paper will stand up to scrutiny. And, scrutinize we must, as the future of GoF research has yet to be written.

Finally, our actions will inform the enemies of freedom on how they should behave Vis-a-vis the deployment of inexpensive biological agents.

The stakes are high and we must not shirk our duties.

        1. Yonason

Sorry, RobR if I wasn’t clear. I just meant that the priority now is to stop the killer shots. Establishing the origin of the virus is important, but, if it takes our energies away from stopping the shot, we will have failed the most important task.

Plenty of time to find out how the fire started after it is extinguished, especially if we already have a good idea and a lot of evidence.

  4. RobR

Thank you. Looking forward to it.

  5. RobR

Just checked it and noted the recent activity. Thanks for the links. Have been flowing some fascinating threads on Twitter from key peeps: Alina Chan, Matt Ridley, Jamie Metzl, and the seeker. Brilliant analysis there. Hope to see you. Things are heating up. As it were, the Virologist’s signing on to the Dazak “Zoonotic Origin paper” are miffed that Fauci failed to disclose that he was funding GoF research that allowed the Bat Woman to play God with pathogens. Gripping stuff.

  6. Yonason

It may be covered in the links I gave, but in case it wasn’t (or was hard to find), here’s a bald faced admission that not only could the spike be ebgineered, but it was in fact done.

“To evaluate the potential genetic changes required for HKU4 to infect human cells, we reengineered HKU4 spike, aiming to build its capacity to mediate viral entry into human cells.”
    https://journals.asm.org/doi/full/10.1128/JVI.01279-15

    please note that it was
    published in 2015,
by several authors, including Sho Zhengli (bat lady)
supported by Faucj’s NIH grants R01AI089728 (to F.L.) and R01AI110700 (to R.S.B. and F.L.). [RSB is Ralph S. Baric]

It is proof that the gain of function work they said couldn’t be done, was done. And it was done by them!

Funding was sent by Daszac, who knew Baric well.

Once you know that all these people are in league with each other. you can’t be fooled by their protestations of ignorance or innocence.

Another can of worms is the fact that there is nothing a out the virus that is new, because all the new bits have been payented over the last 2 decades.
