Reaction to German Phoenix television talk show with Prof. Fritz Vahrenholt
Many viewers were surprised: Phoenix, the joint news channel of ARD and ZDF (“Das ganze Bild”), invited Fritz Vahrenholt to a climate discussion round, although he had just slammed the climate ruling of the Federal Constitutional Court on Roland Tichy’s site.
In the broadcast, the former environmental senator from Hamburg did not present himself as a “climate denier,” but passionately demanded that the physical-technical realities of the green energies not be ignored.
In particular, he emphasized that after the shutdown of coal and nuclear power plants, there would not be enough electricity to the grid to supply all consumers, and therefore pleaded for a renaissance of nuclear power, as is the case with our neighbors. Politics, as is well known, is the art of the possible, and constant dripping wears away the stone, it is to be hoped.
The moderator hardly allowed a free debate between the participants and gave the floor one after the other, well aware that otherwise at least Neubauer would have wielded the rhetorical crowbar as on Anne Will.
Journalist Sara Schurmann, who had worked for Funk (and Die Zeit), demanded after the talk show that public television put on its own shackles and no longer invite climate deniers so that no false views would be broadcast over the airwaves (hat- tip to Michael Krüger). The formerly renowned BBC, of all places, has been doing this for a year now.
This demand is quite funny because Vahrenholt did not comment on the catastrophe theory in principle at all, but only named the problems of the green energy transition that are coming in any case. Actually Neubauer, Göpel and Schurmann should be grateful to him for trying to save their ideals.

While physical and technical issues can be complex and require
some detailed calculations, it is not believable that all CC members
are unable to understand such issues. Willful ignorance and imposing
ignorance on others is their chosen path.
It would be interesting to know historically how many civilizations were demolished by a similar minority of fanatics (they are a minority, if high-decibel). It could be along the lines of Charles MacKay’s “Memoirs of Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds.” What were the historic consequences of actions by a clutch of dedicated “psychopaths,” that is, who did it besides the Nazis? The Spanish Inquisition comes to mind.
Governments, corporate media, corrupt scientists, climate activists, alarmist politicians and profiteers need to make constant efforts to create and maintain an illusion of a “Global Warming” reality.
They constantly lie, and prevent the public from being exposed to the truth.

Why is such a huge effort needed in the first place? The problem that these people have is that if Global Warming was real, other people would be capable of feeling and seeing it by themselves. However, Man-Made Global Warming being fiction, the real world that most people see and feel does not match the Global Warming narrative, and all their dire predictions fail to materialize, which is why they are in such a serious deficit as far as credibility goes.
Asserting Man-Made Global Warming is ‘fiction’ is counterproductive and poor strategy, whatever the degree of human effect on the climate the ‘window of discourse’ has moved on.
Germany is fast approaching an energy crisis with the mandated closure of nuclear and coal plants together with banning of the sale internal combustion cars amongst many other energy-related problems.
Prof Vahrenholt is on the right track IMO pointing out the folly of net-zero policies that is becoming obvious.
It may be counterproductive in political / tactical terms, but it’s the truth, to the best of my knowledge. I may be naive, but I’m one of those who believe that truth matters. Truth has a value of its own, and it will prevail, eventually.
Correct Palk. But why not do both?… debunk climate hysteria (The IPCC actually does a lot of that itself if you read the technical sections)… while at the same time showing that an acute shortage of electric power and EV materials (lithium and cobalt etc ) will make it impossible to replace the ICE … the public will not have access to private veicles at all in the future (which is probably the plan)
The BBC have been censoring climate discussion since 2006 . { Look up 28gate ].
They make sure that the truth is not allowed to be told on their programs and only have guests and presenters who push the Global Warming /Climate Change propaganda .

why , regarding the decrease of confidence in existing media, new media don’t appear..

people are not really fooled by the climate narrative.. but they accept it somehow..i guess it is because it serves other ideologies wealth “redistribution” for instance ..and jealousy.
Yes, it’s a fool’s paradise. Hopefully, knowing this, sane people will continue to live productive lives.
That is precisely like trying to “live productive lives” with poisonous snakes under your bed — and certainly not with a criminal, insane mob pretending to be a legitimate government (the pile of painful evidence continues to mount against the Biden “administration”, for example). It can’t be done. It is in the nature of the poisonous snake, and insane radicals alike, to bite, if you are fool enough to try it.
Not poisonous snakes, but the pre-enlightenment times when we had no objective knowledge but all was myth and superstition. That’s where we are headed now.
