The IPCC’s latest report uses a hockey stick-shaped reconstruction of global temperatures that wholly contradicts previous records produced by the same PAGES 2k and Oceans 2k consortiums from 4 years earlier. In 2015, the PAGES 2k Consortium published an updated (“corrected”) 0-2000 AD global reconstruction that showed a large portion of the 1st millennium was […]

Typhoon trends contradict alarmist clai9ms made by the IPCC’s latest report By Kirye and Pierre The latest IPCC AR6 report claims there is a likely link between extreme weather events and human activity, particular so-called greenhouse gas emissions. The media wasted no time in spreading panic and magnifying hysteria. But is it true that extreme […]

Monthly newsletter by Prof. Fritz Vahrenholt The IPCC’s latest climate report was published on August 9th and I have been able to take a look at it. One thing is clear: It will give all the alarmist forces a strong tailwind. But before we look at the IPCC report, we first take a brief look […]

German IPCC critic: Prof. Fritz Vahrenholt, Image: GWPF IPCC’s sixth climate report disappoints across the board By Die kalte Sonne (Translated, headings by P. Gosselin) The IPCC’s 6th Assessment Report on Climate (AR6) was published yesterday, August 9, 2021. Fritz Vahrenholt has summarized the most important things on Roland Tichys Einblick. “Climate models (CMIP6) have […]

With data showing individual death risk from natural disasters (floods, droughts, hurricanes, tornadoes…) declined from 7.2 per million population in the 1990s to 5.6 in the 2010s, a new study takes aim at the IPCC’s “subjective opinion” labeling method in the manufacture of climate alarm. Per an exhaustive data analysis (Broccard, 2021), both the global-scale […]

A new paper authored by distinguished climate researcher Nicola Scafetta and published in the journal Atmosphere titled Reconstruction of the Interannual to Millennial Scale Patterns of the Global Surface Temperature concludes that humans are only responsible for half, at most, of the recent warming. The IPCC climate models fail to properly take natural oscillations into account. […]

The IPCC-endorsed anthropogenic global warming (AGW) paradigm finds a warming Antarctica results in more precipitation locked up as ice on the continent. This contributes to reducing sea levels: a -1.2 mm/year−1 mitigation of sea level rise over the next 80 years. In the 4th IPCC report, Working Group 1 (the physical science) reported that as […]

Climate researcher, geologist, Patrice Poyet has released a new e-book: The Rational Climate e-Book: Cooler is Riskier. The Sorry State of Climate Science and Policies. This is an outstanding reference. Using the table of contents the reader can conveniently look up the topic that’s of interest. The ebook has been downloaded over 10,000 times so […]

Despite the thousands of scientific publications refuting alarmist climate change scenarios, governments, activists and the IPCC continue to insist that we’re headed for climate catastrophe when we clearly are not. Thanks to Kenneth Richard’s Herculean efforts and the Google Medieval Warm Period Map, we have these publications readily available. There are reasons why in 2019 […]

CO2 is higher at the Poles than at the Equator. When air warms, CO2 goes down and water vapor goes up. The warming effects of CO2 and water vapor do not add; they oppose each other. This is opposite IPCC claims. The IPCC claims doubling CO2 from 280 ppm to 560 ppm over the course […]

Just recently Anthony Watts posted an article on wildfires penned by Paul Homewood. Lately alarmists have been blaming the active forest fire season on global warming. They warn that warmer temperatures will lead to more wildfires. Is it so? First it’s important to note that warmer temperatures don’t necessarily lead to more drought and wild […]

The magnitude of claimed global warming since the mid-1800s has tripled from 0.56°C to 1.72°C in the last few years. As recently as 1994, the IPCC claimed global surface temperatures had risen “0.3 to 0.6°C” (0.45°C) since 1861. By 2001, it was changed to 0.61°C warming from 1861 to 2000 (IPCC TAR 2001).
