German Klagermauer TV here shows a recent presentation made by veteran climatologist Prof. Dr. Werner Kirstein, in the lead up to the Marrakesh climate conference. Prof. Dr. Werner Kirstein calls climate protection a form of populism where governments hope to garner praise for their climate protection efforts. Image cropped from Klagemauer TV. Whether Hillary wins or not, things are looking grimmer and grimmer for the Democratic Party with each passing day. The Hillary organization is now taking four major blows, simultaneously, and likely will shatter the Clinton backbone to pieces. Four of Clinton’s biggest nightmares: Jonathan Gruber (Photo: MIT); Julian Assange (Photo: Free Assange); James Comey (Photo: FBI); James […]

Atmosfear: Media Are Playing A Dangerous Game With Extreme Weather Fear By Dr. Sebastian Lüning and Prof. Fritz Vahrenholt (German text translated/edited by P Gosselin) The history of science is rich in discoveries, progress, falsehoods and confusion. How will future generations see the history of climate science? Where are they going to set the point […]

Beginning in 2003, software engineer William Connolley quietly removed the highly inconvenient references to the global cooling scare of the 1970s from Wikipedia, the world’s most influential and accessed informational source. It had to be done. Too many skeptics were (correctly) pointing out that the scientific “consensus” during the 1960s and 1970s was that the […]

The mean temperature for Germany in August, 2016, was 17.7°C, which turns out to be 0.2°K colder than the figure reported in the overheated August 30, 2016 press release issued by the German DWD national weather service. The August result makes the month 0.7°C warmer than the 1981-2010 mean. Nothing extraordinary. However, the DWD has had a habit […]

As is the case in many countries, major media outlets are increasingly accused of having abandoned real investigative journalism, and rather have taken on the role of unquestioning propaganda mouthpiece for the state or a single political line. The following is an example in Germany. ============================= German public television TV host/science journalist Harald Lesch (astrophysicist) […]

I’m short on time today, as will be the case tomorrow as well, and so here’s something way off topic – from last week. Recall I recently wrote about the glaring hypocrisy and deceitfulness of an all-white German media here. It appears that the heydays of the media are almost over. Their credibility has been […]

By Kenneth Richard Last month, National Geographic and other news organizations ran the disheartening headline “First Mammal Species Goes Extinct Due to Climate Change“1. The small rat, whose only habitat was “a single island off Australia,” hasn’t been spotted since 2009. Bramble cay melomy Melomys rubicola. In 2016 declared extinct on Bramble cay. Photo: State […]

Parts of Germany have been hit hard by unusually harsh downpours, flooding and thunderstorms over the recent days, prompting some alarmist scientists to barge into TV and radio studios to announce it’s due to human-made climate worsening. Now Spiegel science journlalist Axel Bojanowski comments on this behavior in a commentary titled: “Heavy rains in Germany: […]

Some alarmists are claiming that the devastating forest fires of Alberta (see NASA photo below) are the result of climate change, for example by the New York Times or the BBC. In Germany we keep hearing from some that spring in Central Europe is arriving earlier and earlier – due to climate warming. Unfortunately the data do not support the claim at all, it turns out. Data over the past 25 years in fact show that spring has been arriving later, and not earlier. Photo by: […]
